There's nothing better than an extreme adventure to leave you with the many bruises as a reminder how great it is to feel alive and the satisfaction of challenge and conquer. 12/07/03 - Outrigger Kiting story about non surfer guy....
Everything started by a beautiful sunny day at Kanaha beach. I was just here to film and take photos for the website. Then Loch said :"Yann just go and swim to the canoe.", so no time to take my life vest that was in my car.. probably a sign.. just my lycra top and go for it. read more

12/07/03 - Killer Kanaha with Outrigger and a 30m 
The famous friday night phone call came and it was our buddy Don Montague. Don said we are going to Jacques in Paia to have some drinks and also talk about Saturday's kite canoe mission. We all met at the sushi bar at Jacques and the conversation lasted about two seconds due to the distraction of Jacques' supermodel waitresses and other ladies frolicking about under the full moon of Paia. 10/11/03 - Red Bull event fly by Hookipa Maui
With wind gusting offshore up to 40kts we decided to launch from maliko gulch anyways, we tried to get the event jet ski's to give us a tow out of the gulch but they couldn't leave the event site so we were forced to launch on our own, As Martin Lenny had once swam the kite out before he was elected to do it again andafter a 1000m swim we were out in the wind line and had a perfect kite lauch, we picked up Martin and we headed down wind... read more

10/05/03 - Tavares Bay Kuau Launch Gusting to 45kts
With Darrel Wong and Ronny Basso in the helicopter the pressure was on. We were looking out at the ocean and it was all white Eggers and Montague starting setting up the canoe and the wind backoff abit so it  looked like a go. Lenny and Bastain showed up late and with in 10minutes we needed to be on the water, tensions were high because of the conditions and we were planning on catching some really large waves with a couple of bad launches we were finally on our way... read more

08/16/03 - The Molokai Crossing August 16 th 2003
The 12 meter Boxer kite performed well with the canoe and we were able to surf waves for several hundred yards and reached speeds up to 17 knots... read more
